Post-office Pickup

September 06, 2005

I went to the post-office to pick up a package of books (you've gotta read, right?). As I headed back to the car, the corner of the box of books bumped the shutter release.

I wasn't really sure about this shot, but, in a sort of documenting-my-day way, it seemed appropriate. (Plus, I liked the solid red post-box.)

Details: Nikon 18-70mm, 18mm, f/16, 1/100s

Listening to: Brewster Kahle — Universal Access to All Knowledge. An excellent talk and Q&A session with someone really working to record as much of the world's cultural history and knowledge (in the form of the Internet Archive and related projects).
